Tanisha Dixon is a leader, community advocate, and public health professional who has worked in grantsmanagement for 9+ years. A native of North Carolina, she received her Bachelor’s in Public Health fromEast Carolina University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina atPembroke. During most of her career, Tanisha has worked in Teen Pregnancy Prevention, serving as anintern, program assistant, and program coordinator in Robeson County, and then as the technicalassistance coordinator and program manager for the state of South Carolina. Growing up in rural NC,ignited her passion for community, systems, equity, and environment. That passion has landed her ingrant management.
